Cyber Risk Insurance Conferences

I will be speaking at two Cyber Insurance conferences in the upcoming months; here are the details:

IRMI – opening speaker at the International Risk Management Institute’s Cyber and Privacy conference in San Francisco on July 20-21.  I will be presenting the results of research on the cyber risk market, including insights on the purchasing decisions by middle market insureds and potential insureds.

I was speaking today with Millie Workman of IRMI about the conference.  She is finding that the number of attendees that are risk managers or agents is unusually high compared with other conferences on cyber, so that is really exciting.

So many conference attendees are often from carriers or global brokers, and while that’s not a bad thing, I do like the idea that we will be speaking to the end user and his/her intermediaries as well.

Thought you would like to know this.

ACI – moderating a panel at the American Conference Institute’s 5th annual Cyber and Data Risk Insurance conference on September 26-27 in New York City.  The panel will address The Current State of Cyber and Data Security Coverage: What Policy Holders Are and Should Be Looking for in Coverage.

Joining him on the panel will be Nick Economidis (Beazley Group), Emily Freeman (Lockton Companies), Dave Lewison (AmWINS Brokerage), and Charles Bellingrath (S.H. Smith & Co.).

Through a special arrangement with ACI, if you register directly by June 30th and mention our name, the standard price of $1995 is reduced by $300, BUT you must contact the conference producer directly:
